Steroids and AF

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been very active on the site recently. I have AF, and multi focal tachycardia, been on Apixaban and Bisoprolol for about three years. I have recently been diagnosed with Polymyalgia rheumatica and have been put on Steroids (prednisolone). I had my second ablation in November 2020 and haven't had much trouble with the Af since then, however since I've been on the steroids I have noticed that I'm getting a lot more ectopics and irregular heart beats. Has anyone else experienced this. I'm still waiting for my review with the consultant following my ablation, it's been cancelled twice. I read on one of the posts that there is an AF nurse that you can talk to? Would that be in your local hospital? It would be nice to know that there is someone you can ring and ask for advice when ever you want rather than waiting to speak to a GP, (which is almost impossible these days) that in itself raises the blood pressure which is no good for any of us!! Sorry to hear about everyone's issues, but really good to have this forum to be able to chat things through with likewise people, so thank you to all of you for listening.
