I've just had a stent fitted and have a numbness on the right side of my mouth that's still there after a week. Any ideas as to the reason

Hi, no expert and would suggest you speak to your GP as may not be due to the procedure. Best Wishes. Su

Hi, Just thinking possibly a connection with nerve pathways. Some people experience jaw pain/discomfort during an angina or heart attack therefore possibly the stent has aggravated a nerve which would eventually subside. Best Wishes ,Su

Have to admit, first time using the site and not finding it entirely clear. Glad to hear you are going to attend a Rehabilitation Unit.
