PVCs and stroke

Can having PVCs increase your risk of stroke even if the person is otherwise healthy?

Dear chickeninthewood.

We are ordinary folk who have heart issues and are willing to share our experiences. I had aortic stenosis, have had the op and am happy to tell what happened. Not medically qualified.

Six years ago I had a full stroke. I write a lot on the stroke forum, again, just sharing my experiences.

I am not medically qualified .

Thank you, Seems there are as many opinions by doctors as there are doctors! I am learning to listen though.

Apparently not, I was told by the cardiologist mine were just benign and nothing to worry about. I am however on bisoprolol because of them being erratic but I do have a leaking mitral valve.

Oh! How do you find out if you have a leaky mitral valve?
