Blood rush to the head and swollen face - any link to heart medication

Hi All, I would welcome any help. Since my heart attack in December I have been on a cocktail of heart medication and had been generally coping well with limited side affects. About 3 months ago I started to get blood rushes to my head when i bent down and put my head below my waist leaving me very red faced with blood shot eyes. That has continued but about 2 months ago I started to wake up in the mornings with a swollen face and that has continued with increased blood rushes to the head not only when I bend down but also when i lift boxes etc or do any physical work. I started to sleep on raised pillows which has helped but the swollen face in the mornings continue together with blood rushes to my head and blood shot eyes. My blood pressure has not been raised during these episodes. My GP thinks it might be Angioedema which amongst other things is caused by an allergic reaction including to various blood pressure tablets. Given I have had no changes to my heart medication for about a year the GP is not sure if it is angioedema as he thought the symptoms would have occured soon after a change in medication. The blood rush does not happen when I do aerobic exercise (cycling/ walking) and the GP thinks that this may be due to the adrenalin produced. Has anyone else suffered these symptoms? If so what treatments were effective? I have been on a course of steroids and antihistamine but with no impact to date.
