Unconfirmed Heart Problems?

Hello everyone, it is my first time writing here.

I have been frustrated by some unexplained heart related symptoms and would like to ask about some opinions/suggestions.

The combination of these symptoms firstly appeared last year when I felt palpitations and very strong pulse throughout my body. Then during this year I had two episodes of feeling of tightness over my chest. Since last month I have been suffering from pain at my upper left back which has extended to my left shoulder and left part of my neck. I also have episodes of palpitation every week and an unexplained pulsating sensation throughout my body (I can feel my body shaking with heartbeat all the time).

I did one ECG and another 48hr ech tape which all appeared normal. My gp thinks at my age (I am 22) it is unlikely that I have serious conditions.

However I cannot ignore these symptoms which have lowered my energy level and quality of life. Has anyone experienced these symptoms before and how were they dealt with? Should I persuade my gp to order more advanced tests such as CTA or cardiac MRI?

Please see a cardiologist and demand more extensive examination. My 42-year-old daughter had some of those same symptoms over a couple of years. Her doctors told her they were panic attacks and put her on Xanax and Zoloft. What tests were done (echo and ecg) did not show abnormalities. I wish they had been more thorough in investigating her symptoms.
