Can you tell me how was Afib diagnosed.? What was your symptoms? And what is the treatment ?
A/fib is diagnosed by ECG and you need to see a Cardiologist see one privately so no waiting initially. You will probably have a treadmill test and a Holter monitor to track what your hearts doing.
It's usual to be given beta blockers till you've been properly diagnosed.
You will also need to be referred to an electrophysiologist for the possibility of an ablation to help you.
I have had A/fib for 17 years its so much easier these days to get treatment.
You might like to join the A/F site on here they have all the information you would ever need.
I know how horrible it feels to have A/FIB but there is lots of help out there
