Does any one else ever get a full nights sleep. Up a couple of times a night to pee. The rehab nurse keeps telling me I dont drink enough water , if I do would I get any sleep at all?

Hello, it depends is the short answer! For example, if you’re on a diuretic make sure you have it in the morning so it’s not making you pee at night. Also, what do you actually drink and when do you drink it? Could it be any other conditions making you pee? Perhaps keep a diary of what you drink and when and how you are at night then discuss it with your heart nurse.
Best wishes.
Thank you for your reply. Not on water pills only drink tea or water. Because the heart attack damaged my heart muscle the blood goes to more important organs in your body so at night bladder function is better. Oh for a full unbroken nights feel so tired all the time. Buts thats life many people out there a lot worse off.
I'm 70 and have the same trouble. (You might actually find drinking more water helps.)
I treat it as extra exercise to stop me stiffening up too much. Getting old can be a wretched business!
