Hello Dee. It's probably worth asking your local pharmacist, to see what they say. If you don't get a sensible answer from them, try your GP. For the moment, you should carry on taking them twice a day as directed. Maybe take the second one earlier in the evening?

Hello Dee, not sure if i can help, im taking 5mg amlodipine in morning and because my bp was rising on evening i was prescribed 25mg to take in evening, i too noticed after 3 months that my bp was going very low in the mornings and evenings, like yourself i did worry as my bp was low before taking any of my tablets, i went to my pharmacist who advised me to swap them around but to speak to my gp first, i contacted my gp with my readings as requested and was told to stop taking losartan, so i did for about a week only for my bp to start rising again so i had to start taking losartan again, i would speak to your gp first at least then they can advise and monitor your bp, hope this helps.
