I now seem to be suffering pain now weekly, last week had a emotional situation brought on an attack, the chest pain lasted for 4 days I was told to go A&E had ecg, X-rays, blood tests, no heart attack thankfully. Told to arrange to see my cardiologist. Sunday woke at 3.30am chest pain numb face aching left arm short of breath, had 2 sprays twice managed to get under control by 4.30 am but all day Sunday left again with aching chest .
Maybe my body has got used to the medicines 10 years, started worrying again will I have an attack in my sleep. ????

I was diagnosed whilst having 3rd angiogram, waiting now for my cardiologist appointment, I knowing worrying does not help but having in my sleep concerns me Thanks for your support.
So sorry you are having a rough time. I get vasospasms too. Getting them at night can be pretty frightening.
Mine are brought on by temperature changes and stress. It's quite a balancing act - one I am still trying to master (and quite frankly not doing very well at!).
I too am going through a stressy patch at the moment which I'm doing my best to stay on top of and the night times are now getting a lot damper and more autumnal which also isn't great, but noticed my chest pains are getting a lot more frequent and consistent at night again since last week.
Really hope you get to speak to your cardiologist soon. Try not to worry, I know that's a lot easier said than done. I notice Milkfairy has sent a lovely message already, a very knowledgeable and reliable person on this topic. Have learnt a lot from the links I've been sent.
Take care and hope you start to feel better very soon ❤
Keeping a record I now seem to have a ‘spasm’ once a week in my sleep that wakes me after gym spray leaves me with chest pain. I don’t know what causes these. I don’t know if to retire from work maybe this may reduce night issues. ???? Worry about going to sleep at night.
