AF affecting wristwatch?

I’ve had two expensive battery operated watches which between them have had five batteries in two years. The last - brand new last Thursday- stopped last night (Friday), ie 1week and 1day from new. Question - can this be down to AF or something else to do with circulation problems (of which I have a few). I’m a stroke survivor and wear the watch on my unaffected side

This is strange. I have AF. Had my Rolex serviced (parts replaced) earlier in the year. It was OK for a couple of months but has started to lose a minute a week and I have wondered if it has anything to do with my AF. Keep trying to convince myself it isn't as I have had the watch for around 30 years and AF for around 5 years. Keeping an "eye" on it and will be going back to the trader.
