Experience on verapamil?

My earlier comment got lost!I took Verapamil for years.It was fine for me but not now because my heart and valve situation has changed.So it was stopped quite suddenly by the hospital during 'a crisis'.

Any side effects when suddenly stopping? As told you should not just stop.. At least not without speaking to doc..

I've not had any issues with them in the last couple of years but they changed name to vertab i know it's the same medication I'm a bit surprised to see them called verapamil as they told me that they no longer available and I had to mess around getting another script but might just be around my area

Hi there, was switched from Bisoprolol to Verapamil in March, took a while to adjust to side effects but overall feel much better on it than the Bisoprolol.

Hi,

I have taken Verapamil for years (19+) and found it really helpful. Some minor side effects initially but benefits way out exceeded them. Hope that it works for you. Good luck.
