Different blood pressure
I had to take my monitor into the surgery to check it against the calibrated ones there. I had mine on one arm and the one used at the surgery on the other, both operated at the same time. This was repeated with the monitors swapped over, again with them operated at the same time. The results were that mine was reading slightly high, so my GP was happy for me to use it to take readings. More importantly he said it was important to take the readings at the same time as BP varies over time. I suspect this is what is happening in your case as you change from arm to arm.
Different blood pressure in both arms is entirely normal. 10mg is not significant. There would probably be other symptoms if there was a clot. If worried speak to your GP or consultant.
GP's were advised by NHS to take BP on both arms some weeks ago.
It is important to realise that one side's blood vessels are not a mirror image of the other so a subtle difference of up to 10 may be normal.
The best way to measure is to take the average of 3 on each arm but swop arms with each measurement.
