Hello Cherry Blossom, is your husbands health issue due to his heart? If it is, I can only recommend you get in touch with the British Heart Foundation directly. They are very good (I haven't tried them), a lot of people say talk to a cardiac nurse. That is where I would start, you can ring them, number on the website, but I'm sure lots of people on here will advise you better than me.

Very sorry to hear your extremely sad news x

Hello CherryBlosssom1

I am sorry to read about your husband's distressing experience.

Your husband's GP should have been sent a copy of the consultation. If you live in England your husband should receive a copy too.

Make an appointment and go with your husband and speak to his GP.

To get a copy of his medical notes you can contact the Patient Advisory Liaison Service PALS of the hospital concerned.

You may wish to raise your concerns with them as well.

I suggest you get some support if you decide to do this. PALS should give you the contact details of the local Patient advocacy support services.

Another option is contacting Healthwatch.

Sending my best wishes to you both.

Sorry to hear your difficulties, if he needs care due to his health, you can ask adult social care for a support package which will include direct payment for a PA .
