I am having an initial phone interview by someone from the Cardiology department at Leicester Glenfield Hospital. Has anyone had the same? What happened? Is this hospital any good?

I had a double bypass at Glenfield last August and have nothing but praise for them. They are one of the top heart hospitals in the country so you are in good hands

I have had two lots of stents fitted at Glenfield and have nothing but praise for them. I have recently had further problems and had a telephone consultation with the cardiologist who has said that he will arrange a further angiogram when the COVID situation improves. He was very reassuring.

Glenfield is the only place to go to for heart matters in this area. I had a 5 way bypass last year and the Cardiovascular department have been very supportive via telephone consultations due to the pandemic since my operation. You will never find a more supportive system.

Glenfield hospital is in my opinion the best hospital in our country

My now three year old healthy little girl had a vascular ring repair aged 7 months genuinely this hospital is incredible they have the best surgeons and also staff in general we were made to feel like family when we had to stay there whilst our daughter had the procedure I personally cannot speak highly enough of everyone in this hospital

It was a difficult time for me and my husband as parents but every person there just gave us the utmost support and best care for our daughter trust me you are in the best hands xxx

I had both my AVR ops at Glenfields and couldn’t fault them. Excellent doctors, nurses and other staff, was well looked after both times, even the food was good!
