Probably a how long is a piece of string question......but is it possible for a moderately diseased artery (which I hear indicates ~50%) to go from that stage to causing Angina symptoms in a matter of ~4 months? Reason for asking is that I had two stents in one artery late summer and was advised another was 'moderately' diseased but not enough for stents. I now seem to be getting symptoms again (breathless mainly)......
I am going back to the Cardio for tests but was interested in others experiences....
Thanks (oh and Happy New Year)....

Hi, It is good that you are going back for further tests. I did have a return of symptoms after roughly 4-6 months, as far as I remember, but it was due to my body's reacting to the stents by walling them off and further drug eluting stenting was required. Bear in mind that this was 19 years ago and stent technology was nowhere near as good, but maybe this can still happen. I was told when I had 2 additional stents last May, for 95% and 80% blockages, that they are now using the 7th generation of stents since my originals. I hope they find the source of the problem soon. Good luck
I contacted my GP with teh same problem but mine's after 2 years and they insisted it couldn't be possible. I had two non stented blockages around 63% with good blood flow. Still fighting the GP for more tests. I have my annual check up next week so will try again
