I already have severe anxiety and when I think about this it scares me but every doctor i mention it too says a pda is no problem but it just goes in one ear and out of the other , does anyone know if its serious or not ? Never been on any meds for it and always played sports til 2 years ago when i developed anxiety ive been literally watching time go by and havent been doing anything since my anxiety got this bad

Chase, you’ve asked this about 7 times now, and always get the same response; no, it’s not serious after it’s been rectified, and only a large PDA would be serious even in an infant. You’ve never actually said if you had treatment as a baby, but some PDAs actually close all by themselves, and once it’s closed, the issue is finished. The bottom line is that you had PDA as a baby, but you no longer have PDA now. You do, however, by your own admission, have severe anxiety, which is persistently manifesting as health anxiety regarding your heart. How are you getting on with treatment for that? Are you still posting and getting help over on the anxiety forum?
