Hi,

I have just had my PM fitted and have had a few strong hiccups and just wondered if I should be concerned. It’s not persistent I’ve had two in the last 25 mins

I wouldn’t be concerned. The pacemaker itself and the wires are securely implanted, although you should still follow the advice to ensure healing. Your diaphragm might have been irritated during the surgery causing the hiccups but it should settle. :)
