Had a pacemaker fitted last July. Now experiencing occasional bouts of 'thumping' heartbeats in the middle of the chest, otherwise all OK.

In the last few months I've had an increase in ectopics since my pacemaker was fitted in February, had a pacing check and pm is working fine, had a 24 hour monitor which showed constant ectopics and svt. Best you talk to your Cardio or pacing clinic to get checked out.
