Blood pressure fluctuating during the night

Hello all very quick question. In the mornings lately before I get up and about 30 minutes after having my Ramipril I've felt a little under the weather and not wanting to eat my breakfast, so I checked my blood pressure this morning and it was 159/89 much higher than I want. I've just been out for an hour and had a walk round the park waited 20 minutes ish and checked it again and it was 128/67, still more than I want but it's about normal for me. Has any body else experienced this? I would have thought that during the night my blood pressure would drop to normal ???

I had similar issues with Ramipril (not blood pressure) so was advised to take after breakfast by cardio nurses at rehab. This helped me.

My consultant suggested I take it at night as it could have some side effects first thing after taken

Hiya yes I take one 5mg around 7 at night and the other 7 in the morning. My cardio said to take the second one at night but I just thought I would Ballance them out. Thanks
