My Ticagrelor was stopped just over a week ago after a year. Has anyone else out there had a twingey chest ?

How twingey? I still get aches and pains from CPR injury 18 months on and it makes me very paranoid, it was worse as I was coming off the Ticagrelor because I was sure it was keeping me alive. My docs advice is always take paracetamol rather than feel anxious, and if it gets serious “I’ll know”... 🤪

Not sure what you mean twingey? My Ticagrelor was stopped after 12 months which was planned. I have had no problems in fact I feel better. Every case is different and you should seek medical advice before changing anything.

Good luck stay safe

I came off it a year ago and can't remember any symptoms like that. I was heartily glad to come off it due to the bruising.

I just read your post and it was a bit of a lightbulb moment. I came off ticagrelor in July last year. In mid August I started having palpitations occasionally then by September I was having palpitations most days. Various tests found nothing. Palpitations suddenly stopped after 3 months. It was frustrating to have no explanation. This may just be the reason?
