Hi not posted for awhile but just had results back and dont know what they all mean, could anyone enlighten me,.This is the letter from hospital,,,The echo confirms preserved LV systolic function, there is septal hypertrophy which measures 2.1cm.There was a resting outflow tract gradient of 34mmHg which increased post Valsalva to 48mmHg.The mitral valve functions well with just a trace of MR and trivial TR.A48 hour tape was performed ,this shows sinus rythm throughout with no evidence of atrial fibrillation. There was some isolated supraventricular ectopics the longest of which was 12 beats.Sorry for the long post but not had any info from my own DRor from the hospital ,,had heart attack Feb 2018 and only seen cardiologist once since, and my own doc twice,,hope someone can shed some light for me,,im not asking for a diagnosis just a bit of jargon busting,,,

Speak to the heart nurses on the helpline they are brilliant. They discuss it in layman's terms. Think of them as a dictionary lol :-).
Sometimes they are talking to dr's who will understand and can seem worse than it is.
Take care.
