Breathless

Have been suffering from breathlessness. Had AVR in Jan 2018.

Since then have had a sub arachnoid haemorrhage. I was then told I needed a loop recorder, a holter monitor and an echo cardiogram.

That was February 2020. Apart from phone from cardiologist and gp to assure me that these procedures were urgent I have had no appointments.

Are they just hoping I will die because I am 74?

I am I increasingly breathless and suffering from severe anxiety.

Cardiac nurse told me to take Frusemide and weigh myself daily.

Any help and advice would be appreciated

I feel for you. There seems to be little point giving you an AVR if they are then going to just dismiss you. You should be flagged on your local GP system after your AVR. I would certainly keep pressing your local GP and insist on a referral back to the consultant. In addition I would contact the consultants secretary direct and try that avenue.
