Due to chest pains I had a double bypass 11 years ago, since then I have had pains in upper chest left side. I always put them down to muscular. I had a carrdiac arrest 3 years ago and still have the pains I still put tit down to muscular. Last year I had a racing heart in hospital it was cllassed as unstable angina and my tablets were changedI have started to use my GTN spray and it seems to ease the pain. Not sure if it's due to muscles or heart, it could even be blocked arteries, I don't know last night I thought should I phone 999 or 111. When I had the heart attack I phoned 111 they fetched an ambulance, in the hospital I had stents. Today my pain seems slightly distant (also I feel I have gause left in when) do I phone the doctor.
I just don't know what to do espescially with Covid, I struggle to get in to the doctors.

If you are having pain, given your medical history, you need to get it checked out.Don't let covid stop you as you will be safe on that front.Let us know what they say.
I rang 111 they called the ambulance, the crew checked and said all seems ok. However they felt the need for me to go to hospital for further checks. After spending 7 hours (very very busy in A&E) it was found to be angina and they sent me home with more tablets. I have to take 2 a day, I took one and all seems settled?.
