Hi every e hope u r all well after my last post regarding chest pain I could stand it no longer so I rang my gp who rang bk and told me to get an ambulance straight away to a@e which I did I was in their 4 hours blood tests ecg etc and it is appt very bad heartburn which to be fair he said the symptoms could be described as ure heart I was so relieved believe me I would nt want to go through that again ever !! So he changed my omeprazole to lanzaprosal 30 mg now taken them. 3 days and feel better already so was worth going we have the best NHS staff 😊

Thank u felt bit silly after it really but the pains were so similar it was scary but all sorted now n feeling loads betrer x

Hi Chrissydoll,

I was on Omeprazole for hiatus hernia for years and had problems regularly. When I went to see a consultant about it he swapped me over to Lansoprazole I've not had any issues since. Best thing I ever did as doctor would probably still have me on Omeprazole now!

Glad they sorted it for you - it's funny how it can make a world of difference!

Hi ye it's been absolutely fine since the hosp swapped my medication I too. Was on omeprazole for yrs but like u say just doing that s been great x
