Checks for Aorta for a child with a parent with Congential heart disease

I had an operation for coarctation of the aorta and open mitral valvotomy and I have recently found out my son should of been checked for Congenital heart disease when he was younger. I have some how got off the yearly checks list so was not aware at any point that checks should be done after the womb check. Has anyone else had a similar experience and what was done to resolve as with covid 19 very difficult to get my son checked for echo or MRI scan.

We are worried as after a football session recently his heart was beating faster than it would previously after a session and thinking now a lot of times his upper body heats a lot and since a child throws up a lot when his body feels hot.

Thank you
