Been doing some garden work and i have pain in chest area again .feels like sternum moving again nearly 2 years after operation.

Is this ok

It doesn't sound great.....check with your GP and take it steady in the meantime.

I'm with lettingoffsteam - this is a matter for your medic, sooner the better and whilst waiting to talk to her/him/them, listen to your body and if you're in pain or short of breath or both - stop what you're doing, sit down and put your feet up.

No short of breath just ache/stabbing pain

Good about no SOB but not good about the ache and stabbing pain - call your medic. Now would be good.

And please update us after you've talked to the doctor - we'll be worrying until we hear you're being seen to.
