Hello - I had my HA just over a week ago. I am on all the usual blood thinning meds etc . I am experiencing a tingling and itching in one leg but now spreading - is this normal ?...I am in a country at the moment that is proving hard to find assistance and info - appreciate any help

Hello and welcome to the forum! There is a chance this is phlebitis which is the inflammation of a vein. If it is a superficial vein it presents itself as redness and itching. In a major vein it can cause DVT. If your calf becomes swollen and hard it is serious and you should attend A&E. You do need to speak to a medical professional as a matter of urgency. Coronavirus is not an excuse for poor medical care. My GP practice is locked up but if you put a call in the duty doctor will call you back and triage you. In recent weeks I have had one exchange using a camera phone to highlight the problem and one where I was allowed in to have a swab taken. Good luck...
