Advice needed

I have had 4 attacks in the past but am being constantly monitored as I have type 1 diabetes. I have just had a result from an echo-cardiogram which showed some diastolic LV dysfunction with slight LA dilation. I do not understand what this but do not want to Google and scare the life out of myself! I am waiting for a virtual appointment but in the meantime would like some advice from anyone that has the same or similar diagnosis.

Yes of course which would normally be the case. Unfortunately I cannot get through to either. My sister who has posted on this site previously advised me to put a post up in the meantime.

Welcome to the forum.

We are living in a challenging time especially as access to our GP or Cardiologist maybe difficult at the moment

Perhaps give the Cardiac nurses on the BHF helpline a call? They are always very helpful and knowledgeable
