Conspiracy theories.

I’m sure we’ve all heard a ‘tall tale’ while waiting in the queue for Tesco’s or somewhere on how the actual COVID-19 started. I’ve just read the latest one that the virus is related to 5G 🙄.

Strange that you should mention that as its just been mentioned on the daily briefing, apparently people are actually destroying the masts!

Michael Gove (I think) said it was total rubbish and in fact dangerous fake news as this means of communication is vital at this moment.

Its scary that people hear a rumour and act on it without a second thought, it shows the need for accurate and responsible reporting & for people to stop scaremongering.

Don’t worry, I’ll tell-’em next time I’m queuing for Tesco’s 🤕

Is there really such a thing as that? I've only ever known the usual chocolate one.

Had a message from Daughter-in-law overnight, the Tesco delivery was for Mothering Sunday so I didn’t have to cook! She ordered it 3 weeks ago and yesterday was the first slot she could get so maybe won’t send her my shopping list!!

Yes I ordered Morrison’s 4 weeks ago, coming tomorrow, been adding stuff every day, now it’s at £291.36 😢 so glad it closes this evening so I don’t add anymore, I’m now thinking where am a going to put it all, hope the freezer takes the frozen stuff. At least I’m abiding by the rules and not going out 😀now going to start baking and making my own bread , and probably put on a few pounds, at least my heart is behaving itself. Touch wood and my Colin seems well. Good job this lock down wasn’t last year when we were having the ambulance out three times a week and ended up in opposite beds on the cardiac ward. Stay well everyone🙏🏻 Love Ursula

Yes, two were set on fire last night in Liverpool, it's a new addition to the list of things the pyromaniacs torch - cars, wheelie bins, bus stops, telephone boxes, litter bins, empty buildings, occupied buildings, other people's homes, their own homes, rough sleepers and now 5G masts - words fail me 😤

Shocking! Apparently, this happened in the Midlands also. I really do think the people doing this are just your usual mindless thugs and in reality has absolutely nothing to do with the coronavirus issue!

Almost certain it's just the usual suspects and nothing to do with Coronavirus.

H Lezzers That's why people hoarded toilet rolls in a panic

I managed to get some loo roll so panic over. But I've become obsessed with delivery dates and check the supermarkets at random times daily!! Nothing available whatsoever, I gave up looking at one supermarket when I got to June!!

There's no shortage of stupid people out there with no capacity for critical thought. One Facebook post and they're true believers.

I read it was the very young that were vulnerable in 1918, but all sorts of rumors going round. Stay safe and well
