Test

Hello everyone, I'm meant to have a test on Thursday at hospital, but my mind has been working over time, I'm worried that if I go and I could catch something. The last time I had appointment at hospital in November, I ended up 4 days later unconscious with A class flu. I had been home the 2 week before appointment and only saw my sister and brother, they don't come near me when they have colds,. It turned out that a patient had come to the hospital for appointment with the flu, there was a few people court it. My daughters and sister thought I was going to die, I didn't but the thought of going back to the hospital appointment is making me mad, I know it's silly, but am I over reacting. Silly I know.

Hi Maggieace. Why not give your hospital a call to see if the appointment is still on? If it’s just routine I expect it’s postponed anyway.

It's your choice, have you been waiting long for the Test and is it Critical you have a result from the Test ?? As Steve says give them a call and see if it's still on anyway !! I have a Echocardiogram on Thursday and if they don't ring and say don't come, I will go

I saw my doctor on Monday and she order 2 week fast track, they rang me Thursday. As I have to stop my meds for 7 days before.
