Is Jubliee hospital in Clydebank cancelled cardiac operations?
There was a joint statement a few hours ago by the Golden Jubilee and NHS Scotland to say that the hospital was not being used as a coronavirus centre. This appears to be fake news on social media. ☹️ After washing their hands these people should be made to wash out their mouths with Hibiscrub! 😁
after waiting so long and being passed around from gp to cardiac nurse surgeon,s secretary, all of them gave me incorrect info. i understand they were not the one to make a decision, but got a messageto day .....your appointment has been cancelled, not sure when it will be re-arranged,will be in touch. So that,s it what do i do now, at least i now know ,instead of being fobbed off all the time.
My Dad finally got out of the Jubilee today (3 weeks post op) - they were having a big doctors meeting whilst we were waiting to 'spring him' and they were walking past saying how they were no longer doing any non-emergency work. They were moving monitors and equipment round the hospital.
Hope you get your new dates and get sorted soon.

Hi manhole phone the hospital and ask them if this is right
The NHS 24 hour helpline call centre is based at the Golden Jubilee and the 1st Minister was their yesterday just to see how they are coordinating things - maybe folks are seeing that and jumping to wrong conclusions.
My Dad is currently in HDU in the jubilee having had a aortic valve replacement on 26th Feb and awaiting a pacemaker fitting now - he ain't going anywhere yet and they were very much still doing surgeries and moving patients through the system as normal yesterday.

Hope they are carrying on as usual as I am waiting on an appointment for 2 stents after heart attack in January fingers crossed.
I attended 3 angiograms. On March 24, I have an operation. But I don't know if Bartolome's cardiology will take place.
