Exercise this week I have been giving the dog sort walks. Can’t get my head round eating healthy. Put on so such weight abs I’m still the same as I was three weeks ago. Hi Pauline, perhaps try thinking just about your next meal and making it healthy?

I have ingredients out for a nice omelette in the morning after I take the dog for walk. I’ve put on a stone since November xx

An omelette it is then. And think about lunch after bfast! In the meanwhile when walking the dog if you can buy some fruit/cucumber/ peppers you could bite into. Don’t give up. You can lose weight. Be gentle to yourself and change something each few days. It takes a long time to change habits if a lifetime.....

I used to be good. Until my life turned upside down. Tried and tried. Me and mum both eat healthy. Mum passed away after complicating with THBP. Have had phases of what’s the point. Need to look after my heart ❤️ Thankyou xxx

Good morning Pauline, losing your mother is obviously a huge blow for you, your body is letting you down healthwise and you hate the fact you`ve put on weight,of course you feel down at times,it`s only natural with so much to cope with. Most of us on this forum get phases of"what`s the point"and sympathize sincerely but now it`s time to look after you.Take it slowly, you know how to eat healthily and you know you feel better when you do so,you`ve made a start,it`s not so much about the weight,it`s a return to a healthy life style for improved quality of life in the future and the weight will gradually come off.A stone is not that much, people on here have lost enormous amounts of weight just by changing their life style. You can do it,slowly and you have a dog,as do I,she`s a life saver because she needs walking twice a day however short and as you feel better you can lengthen those walks. Please pm me any time you want to talk.Be strong but never be reluctant to ask for help,xx

Cow parsley and others . Thanks so much well appreciate it. It’s difficult at times. Mum and I had pains in our chest for years. Was beating myself up saying if I had only pushed the doc back then like I’m doing now the outcome would’ve been better for both of us. Mum wouldn’t wanted me dwelling. Staying at my sister this weekend. She has been great support we both need a kick start back to our healthy ways. It’s so true you are what you eat.

I’m ok, think you for asking. I would love it if I could sleep until 7 rather than wake at 5! But at least it’s not 3 or 4 am.
