Anniversary Echocardiogram

Mangaged to chase down my anniversary appointment after being ping-pong between cardiology and GP. Apparently should I have further symptoms, then GP care kicks in, but for existing AVR reviews, then its cardiology and the ever changing locum. Long gone the days and benefits of continuity of care.

Anyway, much like the cars annual MoT, some trepidation, then relief when it/my cow tissue bioprosthetic valve appears to be unchanged over the past 12 months.

Result!

Part man, part cow seems ok.

I've frequently said "10 good years" as a realistic assumption but secretly hope for more, as doubtless we all do.

Wishing you a long and malady free life!
