Im being treated for suspected angina (47 female) got a CT scan on 21 of this month. Ive been suffering from chest tightness since Thursday worsing time to time. I did go to hospital on Thursday cause my blood pressure was sky high also. Got that down would you wait for the appointment at the hospital and mention it? Cause can angina attacks really last days?

I also have been getting chest pressure but it goes on for hours even at rest, I see Cardiologist on the 20th pending an ablation for my Svt. I,m 72 and taking Bisoprolol 1.25. I will follow the answers to your question! My heart Feels as if it’s pounding out of my chest when I experience the pressure.

Yes chest pain can last for days. Did they draw a Troponin level when you went to the hospital. ( it checks if there is any any heart damage occurring) I only had tingling in my jaw, no chest pain On angio I had 90% and 80% blockages with plaque rupture and bleed. My troponin rise was only 3. Women can have minimal symptoms.
