I'm really keen to understand what struggles people face when it comes to reaching their health goals, whether that is lowering cholesterol, losing weight, blood pressure etc.

What are your struggles when it comes to achieving your health goal(s). What would make the difference?
My biggest struggle has always been my commitment to weight loss. I start really well and then suddenly I slip into old habits 🙈
I subscribe to a Facebook group Team RH. I’ve lost 16lbs and it’s the only weight loss regime I’ve ever kept weight off. The coach has very colourful language his videos but he gets his message across about nutrition. If there’s a medical reason why foods cannot be included you just email or message them through the app. Have a look at their public page first. Lists of people ‘stalk’ the page for a long time before taking the plunge and putting faith in their way. Personally it’s the best £6 a month (yes, a month... not a week like Weight Watchers or Slimming World) I’ve ever spent!
Weight has always been a big issue for me. I've never done feather light - even when I was so incredibly fit that I could easily cycle 20 miles in an hour and had a heart rate so low an insurance company asked for it to be chkecked before they would provide cover.
Even then, at 6ft tall I weighed in at 17 stone with a waist of 36 inches!
And believe it or not, I was still considered as being obese according to BMI models...
Being healthy means being able to ride my bike for around 60 miles in a day. It's not hard to achieve an average of 10mph on a bike so 6 hours of average pace of 10mph is a lot more doable than people think.
But if your heart is having none of it, or your artheritic knees are saying "not today" - health almost drops a rung or two by default.
It is surely a catch 22?
I see this is your first post Mona. Do you yourself have a goal that you are having difficulty meeting?
Perhaps this article from Heart Matters magazine on setting achievable goals may be useful.

I found setting incremental goals very useful.
