Does anyone else feel nauseated with taking Bisoprolol tablets and if so what is recommended to stop felling nausea.
Bisoprolol 2.5. Mg: Does anyone else... - British Heart Fou...
Bisoprolol 2.5. Mg
Dry crackers and stale fizzy drinks help but what you really should do is talk to the medical professional who prescribed that dosage - it may be your dosage can be lowered or changed from the full 2.5mg at one dose to splitting to 1.25mg morning and evening to achieve the benefits your medical care provider is hoping to achieve with the 2.5mg dose.
***Important*** - I am NOT a medical professional and the only advice I'm giving is to try the crackers and stale fizzy drink until you can talk to your professional about your response to the medication.
Ftr, I'm on Bisoprolol 1.25mg in the morning and for me it's doing exactly what it should. I did have a few side effects the first few weeks (useless after 9pm being the worst I endured). If I'd had nausea in addition to falling asleep by 2105hrs I would have been on the phone to the GP in a half-heartbeat. Nausea is horrible, I hope it stops happening to you very soon.
Yes I have been on Bisoprolol from 3 months and initially felt quite nauseous about 2 hours after taking it. I just used to sit down for about 15 minutes and it went away. I still have the old day when I feel nauseous but again it goes quite quickly when I sit down.
Yes I take mine at night a feel nauseated in the morning ! Just give myself time to wake up slowly
So pleased Maisiemay13 to know there is someone else taking their Bisoprolol at night. Made me feel awful when having it in the morning. I’m 5 months down the line from surgery and taking Bisoprolol 3.75 mgs, Losartan 12.5 for bp, didn’t tolerate ,Ramipril.
Yes morning is not my best time, also my sleep pattern shot since op, is it the drugs. How do you cope?
That’s for all the replies, I am getting a second stent inserted next week so hopefully I can have a chat with the doctor at the hospital. It is so annoying feeling nauseous throughout the day. I am still on aspirin and other high blood pressure tablets so may be a good idea splitting them between morning and night
