BYPASS HEART SURGERY

Had bypass heart surgery 10 months ago, since then I haven't smoked. I have terrible shortness of breath since then. I thought maybe its due to the fact that I stopped smoking. I am now wondering if it could be due to the surgery. I went to my doctor and they informed me that my lungs went from 49% to 70%, but doctor gave no reason why I am so short of breath. I have been to 3 different Cardiologists, my lung doctor twice, and my gp 3 times, and no one has an answer. Has anyone else experienced this after heart surgery?

If you have shortness of breath and you did not have it before I would suspect that it might be an effect of your medications. Check the side effects as some are known to have this effect.
