Cardiac arrhythmia newly diagnosed

I've recently been told I have cardiac arrhythmia, 24hr ecg showing pauses of 4.4 seconds. I'm getting more short of breath and dizzy spells. My next appointment isn't until June I was meant to be seeing the cardiologist in 3 months. Does having a cold make things worse? Struggling with day to day normal routine at the moment ,if I do too much I'm not feeling great from around 7pm onwards. Any advice welcome as this is all new to me. I'm 46, female, non smoker if that helps, other wise no other health problems. Thank you

You need to push for an earlier Cardiology appt, unfortunately us ladies are not always taken seriously so we have to be persistent !
