Since being put on to 5 mg of Bisoprolol for angina ive been told not to use Sildenifil for Ed. Has anyone else has this issue and what was the resolution? Any suggestions

Hi FocusRs I think the main issue is that both medications have a blood pressure lowering effect so care is needed. Unless your hear condition is unstable I don't why you have been told they can't be taken together although caution is required. If I were you I would discuss again with GP or Pharmacist. My cardiologist made me wait 6 months after bisoprolol start before he'd let GP prescribe sildenifil. Wanted to make sure I was fully stable first. Suggest you discuss with GP
