Palpatations

I have increasing palpatations since July 19 I have just been prescribed Bisoprolol 2.5mgs how long does it take to start feeling any benefit from using this medication. The palpatations keep me awake most nights. ECG and bloods normal 24 hour ECG shows some ventricular tacycardia
