Trying to stay positive

Morning all, recovering from 5 heart stents and just received the news that after a head MRI (done for dizziness)scan doctors have found a small brain aneurysm 2mm. Feel in shock, what next I ask myself, trying hard to keep positive...consultant said “i have referred you to Hope hospital, they may ring you in 2 to 3 weeks or not if they think it is too small” how can this be? Surely I will have the opportunity to have it monitored and talk to someone? Has anyone else gone through this? ....I’ve made an appointment with my GP Thursday to see what she says....

I had a 2 stroke which led them finding 3 aneurisms I've had one operated on due to it being 11 mil the other two are only two mm I'm being monitored by yearly scans they said the same to me the way I deal with it is I try not to think of it which I know is wrong but it's the only way I can concentrate on getting well first then deal with them by the time you do that you kinda forget about the remaining aneurism or I'd go insane I hope this helps try not let the depression in find inner peace which is hard but helps x

Hi Tracy I’m sorry to hear that you have had so much happen to you, I guess I’m still shell shocked you know, my worry is that no one will ring me as it is deemed small and I will be left in limbo. The consultant that told me was cold and unhelpful,i suppose I am looking for some reassurance.... hope you are feeling stronger soon ....
