Just wondering..

I had a severely stenosed bicusbid aortic valve replacement last year. I'm feeling really well but now wonder if my other heart valves are affected by the stenosis.

When they ran all the tests including ECG, echocardiogram and others they would have checked the other valves as they prefer to not open you up twice. A friend's wife had her mitral valve replaced but they also repaired two others at the same time. Her arteries are totally clear.

Her BP medication needed some changes as it crept up afterwards. The fact that three valves are now working properly again makes me wonder if they have any effect?

I will second that. When the good doctors did mine, they had a good rummage round, fixed all and sundry, fixed an annuloplasty ring in the mitral valve, remodelled my heart and clipped something that looks like a mini clothes peg on the atrial appendage, carried out a mini maze procedure, sowed everything back up and off I went.
