Actually it is a drawing by Barbara Hepworth. She did a number of hospital scenes before the sculpting took off.

I visited a small exhibition of her work yesterday. Whilst I had seen sculptures of hers in St Ives years ago I did not know about this series of hospital drawings done in the late forties. Sadly the exhibition finished yesterday so I cannot suggest visiting! ☹️

Saw a bottle of Pastis in Waitrose. Sounds like pasty flavoured gin by Heston Blumenthal but in fact an aniseed liqueur!

Do you live in St. Ives Cowparsely, or do you go on holiday there. Vaguely remember a jigsaw puzzle, 1000 pieces, we used to produce when I worked for a couple who had a craft workshop. I did enjoy printing various pictures and then punching them into jigsaws. So much fun besides other stuff we did. Miss that.

I live in Cornwall but near the river Tamar so I catch the train down to St.Ives quite often or drive down,book BnB and do different bits of the coastal path.Going on a painting course around that coast in June.Should have gone this year but broke a bone in my foot and had to cancel.Didn`t fancy walking the cliffs in a space boot!!
