What's the best way to stop ?

Hello and welcome to the forum! Unfortunately you have given no indication as to the patient's heart condition, what it was prescribed for (e.g. blood pressure, angina) or why the patient wants to stop. Just stopping could cause a dangerous rebound in blood pressure particularly so if on a high dose. The patient needs to speak to their GP as if for instance they are suffering side effects an alternative may be available.
