TalkWorks!

Just got back from my appointment with TalkWorks. It is proving very helpful. It's not just someone listening to me unwind but a person who has strategies and contacts that can help with a treatment plan. I can feel it helping me avoid dipping into depression but also to take positive steps to deal with the anxiety I am suffering with caring for my husband and my own heart failure. I have for some time refused to accept the help offered of this sort but so glad I gave it a go. I hope that if someone out there is also suffering from extreme anxiety that have access to similar support.

So good you wrote, and it’s great to hear you’re getting lots out of it. And I imagine it’s a particularly useful post for others who might be reluctant to ask for such talking help.
