Still a problem.

Thank you all for your advice regarding my problem. Today I have felt really " off" weak, very tired, weepy and generally fed up! Several visits to the loo. So have got a Doctors appointment tomorrow. I just hope it's nothing serious, and that the cause is medication. I couldn't face anything serious I really would crack up!. Iam also concerned it might be adhesions as I've had 10 abdominal operations since 1978! Not being greedy honest! Just feel so fed up, feel as though I have regressed somewhat.

So sorry to read of your affliction. It’s really debilitating to have bowel problems, and it can cause a real mood change, especially when teamed with the unexpected diagnosis of heart failure or heart related illness.

I have had diarrhoea since 9th February 2018. I’ve been tested, and nothing untoward has been found, so I presume it’s caused by my medication, one of which is Entresto. This drug has helped me so much physically and mentally, that I accept this inconvenience as a necessary evil.

I do sympathise with you though, and will await your report on your medical appointment with great interest.

Still feeling "Off" Still going, feeling weak, weepy and fed up! Dr's appointment Now Monday. Attended last Cardiac Rehab session this morning but after doing warm up exercises I felt dreadful and could not continue, the nursing staff were excellent with me. I have really enjoyed the 8 week course, and can recommend doing it. Bought Imodium today but no effect, roll on Monday, the staff feel my problem is due to medication but surely, after taking the cocktail of medications since my heart attacks 13 weeks ago, any side affects would have happened sooner. Thanks for your concern, will let you know what happens.

Stay strong and positive Redsea. Make sure you stay hydrated and cool. I’m on a down at the moment but I’m sure it will pass in a couple of days. The jokes on here keep me upbeat. Not long till Monday. We’re all here for you. Take it easy.

Thank you Maisie.2-25am just had a trip to the loo, all OK! Let's hope it's over, if it is,the culprit is omeprazole, as I omitted it yesterday! Fingers crossed. Now have a streaming cold! Hope you soon feel stronger, and are feeling better soon. Doesn't take much to make us feel down and fed up does it. I sometimes wish I had my old life, old self back, life for me has changed in three months. But iam thankful for being here, things could have been so different for my family. Thinking of you Maisie.

You were awake at 2 am too? I remember those times as a young woman just coming out of the disco 🥳. My husband says I’m a different person now. I hear him telling friends and family. He’s always been fit and has never been ill despite being a hypochondriac. We used to go to the gym together 4 times a week and although I’ve had osteoarthritis since my early 20s and vestibular neuritis since 2009 I’ve always kept fit. Now I’m lucky if I go once a week. I do get fed up but I have to learn to make the most of what I’ve got and what I’ve had. I’m very lucky to still be here. I’m going for a swim and walk in the pool this morning so today is going to be good. Thanks for your support Redsea.

My deepest sympathy if you do have adhesions. I've had abdominal. bowel, bladder adhesions for 30 years and they are agony. Sadly you won't find anyone in this country who will try to remove them although there are doctors in Germany but after all your ops you've had enough Surgeons are terrified of adhesions because operations cause them as do operations to remove them. Vicious circle.
