I have a bicuspid aortic valve am 37, have no symptoms but am reviewed annually for any change which there has not been any for at least the past 5 years but have just been refused critical illness cover by Scottish widows. Has anyone with same condition managed to get critical illness insurance?

It is going to be very difficult and/expensive to get insurance to cover an existing condition. As suggested, I too recommend talking to a good broker, and certainly not looking at the various on-line offerings.
