Dilemma having Angiogram.

Hi, back last April I was rushed in hospital with a suspected heart attack, but it was Angina. My Cardiologist wasn't there at the time, so another Cardiologist took over. He wanted to do an angiogram, i told him my Cardiologist and I had discussed this before.,because I'd had an angiogram in the groin several years ago and the procedure is not without risk. The new Cardiologist said that's ok he would do it in the back of my wrist. But when I got to Theatre this Cardiologist wasn't even there, it was a young lad called David. Well I told him what the other Cardiologist and I had agreed to. Well anyway he tried 3 times in my wrist but said he couldn't do it because it was calcified. The next thing I knew, i had a terrible pain in my groin, the pain went into my back, down my right leg, couldn't move my leg or toes. Then I felt all sticky and wet, i was crying and believe me i am not a baby. Then all hell broke loose. The wet, sticky moisture i could feel was my own blood. He had only torn the main blood vessel. I won't go into detail about everything that happened after because it was would take all day,but it was horrendous. Apparently the wound should have been plugged or stitched, but it wasn't. Now I have like a puckered area where the hole was, i get pinsa and needles for a about 3 inches around that area and sometimes still get pain in my groin, back and right leg. The 2 Cardiologists have requested that I have an angiogram with the MRI Scanner, but I won't go because I don't trust them anymore. I have Angina and 2 heart valve's that aren't working. They have already told me that they couldn't find a Surgeon that would do the procedure,i also have C.O.P.D. I wouldn't survive the operation. So i think I will just leave well alone.I have since found out that the man that did my procedure was new to that procedure. Just my Luck. So if any of you Ladies or Gents out there are going to be having angiograms, please make sure that the Surgeon you have discussed it with is the one that does it, not like me. Take care everyone. Wow not a good experience but hey your still here on the bright side, I know the feeling of warm sensation as I had that groin op for my stents with an over night stay because of bleeding, but had I could today go for a MRI scan then I would as I have had this for my brain to check all was okay from my CA so I would say go for it, as to heart valves my friend has just had one replaced via key hole and is doing great, so again I would check that out, he is in the Milton Keynes area, wish you well and remember the Monty Pythons song.
