Any help with money if you are having a bypass

It depends on your circumstances. If you are on full sick pay or a pension probably not. If you are only receiving SSP this may be topped up depending on your assets.

Thanks went into hospital for stent they told me after I got to have a double bypass been hospital to day got to have a quadruple

I was expecting a date for stents and then got a phone call from the hospital I had been referred to, after a peer review I did not know about, for a bypass. Was at work and was totally thrown for a minute. I had a quadruple and think much the same as a double bar some extra "plumbing". You will be fine - it's quite routine for the medical staff just "massive" for us!

This is like any other illness or operation and will depend on the sick pay you are receiving from work, any pension plus partner's pay and savings. Go to gov.uk or citizens advice. At this stage it comes under sickness not a disability and most of the time it won't become a disability problem.
