Hello and welcome to the forum! It is a minimum of a month for a car or motorcycle subject to GP's or consultant's OK. However, for a PSV/HGV licence I believe this goes up to a year. There is also a DVLA form you have to complete. Sorry.

Hi there. My hubby like you an hgv driver. He had a Tia 4 yrs ago..it was caused by stress at work.He recovered quickly and lost car licence for 4 wks and HGV for 12 months. Its so disruptive to your life,he had to change jobs etc.so I really feel for you.As a side note,he's been vegan for almost 2 yrs.all his levels have gone down to normal and he's lost 3 stones.Good luck to you my friend

Are you certain that it was a Tia and not just a faint (syncope)?
